Morning all, 15/21 for me please. I had two and a half glasses of rose last night and the rest went in the freezer! I'm feeling the after-effects though, only mildly but looking forward to an AFD.In April I am taking a break from buying: Books

Baileys, Cathy Bird and I think we've worked out a temporary system to keep August ticking over that won't be too onerous and will keep the thread going until she's able to take up the reins again and normal service can resume. Have a lovely time Baileys.
Thank you so much HB and Cathy. I'm certainly one of the guilty ones. I'd started thinking along the lines that we could have a virtual Baileys without the bells and whistles.wintersunshine wrote: »Day 10 - best nights' sleep so far - 7 plus hours - could hardly get up! That's a big ask giving up both at the same time. Well done!:THoney_Bear wrote: »Happy birthday Barny! :bdaycake: That's one you're going to remember!Honey_Bear wrote: »FatRab, it's a big decision and I support you whole-heartedly. All of us totally under-estimate the tolerance we build up by drinking most day for years. It comes as a profound shock to discover after a lengthy enough period of abstinence that a small amount sets off a whole series of reactions that we'd rather not have. Hugely well done on what you've achieved so far and good on you.
Yes, and a well done from me too fatrab.:T Mu tolerance has definitely lowered since I've been cutting back. I just can't believe how I functioned on the bottle+ a day that I used to get through. I've definitely found my stop button.:D
Didn't manage to post yesterday so that's yesterday and today to count.

You're off the hook, Maman!
There is not one single person on this thread who wants to take it on! It just goes to show, doesn't it, how much we needed and valued Shaggy's input for all those years, and now how much we appreciate yours, Baileys', now.
