Cutting Down Alcohol Thread

Welcome Bevery 1471 and good luck with it. It's easy enough to let a way of relaxing turn into something that isn't so clever after a while. I imagine that's how most of us ended up over-indulging.

It sounds more of a habit than an addiction so if you can distract yourself in the evenings that should help. It's so easy for partners and friends to think that encouraging people to drink is being kind but in the long run it's not that helpful.

Keep posting. We're all rooting for you.

I had to stay longer where I volunteer today which meant that although I had a big enough breakfast, lunch was a different matter. I had an emergency packet of oatcakes in my bag so that was lunch. At least they're low GI, even if carby. Hey ho

Day 4 - slept 6 hours in a row that night


Day 5 - Night out with friends. Managed an AFD When I got home managed to get to sleep straight away :D Got about 6 hours sleep straight.

Hi all

Just wanted to give some notice that I won't be able to keep score in August. I have a couple of weeks holiday and also a lot of work away time so updating will be to slow .

If you want me back then Sept should be fine but happy to hand over the reigns if thats what the team wants. Ill still follow of course
