10/17 for me please. Had a tough day, if I can get through the evening without cracking I will be very happy.

Feeling pleased. Friday night drinks and someone was leaving. I went to the pub but when I got to the bar I bought him a drink but got myself a sparkling tonic water. I was asked and said it was G&T but I was just having the one as working the next day.

I could have had a drink as I am allowing myself 4 drinking days per month but I did not want one and I am sick of drinking just to please others. It felt good not to drink. I did not feel deprived at all :)

So, 22/27 for me today please Baileys

    Hope you made it, KateP.

DoingItAnyway, I've always advocated lying about what you're drinking when out with work buddies, because sadly it's deemed acceptable to bully colleagues if anyone chooses to go AF on a works night out. Good on you for making it work for you.

    26/31 please, Baileys.
    Better is good enough.

19 for me please. Def sleeping better now, dropping off quite quickly and not waking up during the night I’m also putting the money I would have spent towards my daughter’s big school trip in October which is an extra incentive not to buy any vino!! :)

    Happy weekend everybody :)

    #Well done KateP.

I rather think a large number of people are expecting a unicorn any day - but they're not on this thread. :( Bad Honey Bear.

    27/31 please, Baileys.

    Good afternoon everyone,
    16 please Baileys.
Not related to this thread, but hopefully you guys won't mind me discussing. We are off on a long (independently) planned family road trip to Canada, and for some bizarre reason I'm feeling really nervous about the whole thing. This is the first time I've organised such a long haul holiday and as there are 5 adults going, and organising it hasn't been trouble free. I'm also worried about drinking too much on the holiday and wasting opportunities to enjoy it when I'm there. The reason being is that I always drink a lot when away holiday=too much drinking.

Am I overthinking things, probably but fishing for some reassurance! Thanks for listening.

    Arkers x
