Barclaycard £50 voucher offer

Mine has come and looking at the T&Cs online you should recive the £50 voucher claim form within 14 days of making first spend. When I activated they didn't know what I was talking about, but mentioned House of Fraser.
I will buy something and then see what happens. I presume we will be able to complain if we do not get what we signed up for.
I have all the online £50 offer stuff saved if needed.0 -
Hi AlexUK..any chance you could forward me the £50 offer terms if you have them?0

Has this happened to anyone else?
I applied for this card as i wanted the 14th 0% Balance Transfer. I saw the 50£ voucher offer and thought great, but then realised as pluckley mentioned that after the 3 months 0% on purchases, I would not have 0% on the remaining balance transfer period i thought i was getting (14mths).
I was expecting 2.9% BT Fee, but charged 2.5% as others and also this fee does not accrue interest - it's part of the transfer.
Yesterday, i go a letter asking me to select my vouchers! Are they counting the balance transfer or the fee itself as a purchase? I had settled not the buy anything and not get the vouchers just to remain on 14 mth 0%, but it appears they are coming my way without a purchase.
Anyone else had this?

I signed up for this card just for a balance transfer and didnt know anything about the voucher offer. I havent spent on it (just transferred) and have just received my first statement which came with the voucher offer. I just had to pick which store I wanted it for and post it back. Very nice bonus just in time for xmas. I signed up for it directly through barclays website not through MSE. I aslo rang up barclays to make sure there were no hidden charges for using the voucher i.e. interest added and apparantely there isnt its all genuine.0

Mine's just arrived. Could someone tell me where the online Terms and Conditions are? I've seen the internet banking ones, but not for the actual card itself.0

Ts&Cs are here http://www.barclaycard.co.uk/landing/platvoucher_oct.html?TC=AFMSP15986 (links at end of page).
I've read on another site that the stooze transfer can trigger the voucher, so hold off spending anything till near the end of November (do it before the 30th if you've heard nothing). The 0% is capped at £5k, so you're not going to get rich on this stooze, but every little helps I suppose. Also, if you do have to spend to get the voucher, be aware that there is a £1 miniumum interest each month, so that'll knock at least £10 off the value of the voucher (and make it irrelevant whether you spend 40p or £5).0 -
Thank you all SO much for posting this! I got mine within a couple of days, phoned to activate & confirm the voucher offer AND can balance transfer for free for 14 months, which is really helpful!
I'm going out for a Mystery Shop tomorrow at Pizza Hut with a friend, so will use the card then to get my voucher in time for Christmas!
MSE - you're all lovely!!!

just phoned to activate my barclaycard and got the hard sell for card protection. the guy on the phone said that although my credit cards are covered for fraudulent use, my debit cards aren't so i should take out the protection for them. I didn't but is he right? I assumed that the bank was liable if your account was used fraudulently??

he also asked why I'd applied for this card - I was abit flummoxed as you cant just say to claim the free voucher!MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j
