Good Afternoon Diary,

Last day before we go on holiday . Been very busy again today but the house is pretty much straight now.
Ive got spinning class tonight and then literally a few things to pack after. I will have a wash load to get washed and dried too which is DH's work things and my gym clothes.

Im starting to feel a bit jittery now so trying to keep busy. Im not taking off's biggest fan and every time I think about it I feel a bit sick! Will be glad when were there and I can just chill. I never feel as jittery coming back for some reason!

Have a fabulous holiday. I love taking off it's the flying bit I get jittery about in case there's turbulence. Weird but I don't bother on the way back either.

Morning Diary,

We are back :(:( big sad faces here!!! Had an absolutely brilliant time and I always wonder why I get jittery about the take off as I'm always fine! I think its just all the waiting around and anticipation of it all. Even DH who gets really jittery about flying was totally fine. I think it helped that we had hardly any turbulence unlike our last flight which we couldn't take our belts off for it :eek:.
We hardly spent any money and brought over 100 euros back so I'm going to change that back and put it into the savings.

The weather was atrocious as we got back, hail stones and everything! Took me all night to get back to this temperature :rotfl:.

Weather has been kind to us today though and is very sunny so as you can imagine the holiday washing it out drying.

I am on a bit of a downer today, hate coming back from holiday! We spend all year paying for it and weeks preparing and then its over just like that. Last night MIL, my dad and then my mum all rang with bad news from whilst we had been away. It has really made me think you really need to live life to the absolute max as much as you can. So with this in mind I've been looking for next years holiday :rotfl:.
MIL actually called over which is totally unlike her so I knew something was wrong and she's made mutterings about us all going away together.
Then my sisters text this morning saying it would be nice if we could all go.
We don't really do going away with people well as we like to please ourselves! Then again I see big groups of people enjoying their holiday together and it does make me want to do this.

Glad you had a fab time. Coming home from holidays is hard I think I'd prefer to go on holiday with others just for someone else to occupy Mr SA. If you can still do your own thing it should be ok MTG it's when you've got to start pleasing other people it gets a pain.

Evening Diary,

Thank you PLMBL and SA for your posts. I am really struggling with this temperature, DD1 and I are currently sat under spare single quilts which we usually get out in winter :rotfl:.

I do like the thought of going with someone SA but id have to set it out straight that we wouldn't be stuck to each other the whole time!!!

So my sister called round this afternoon and they've not long gone home. They had tea here and it was nice to catch up as we haven't seen them for weeks.

Forgot to say I sent DH shopping this morning. He only spent £59 but he literally stuck to the list where as I would think oh we need that etc etc. Weve got loads of stuff missing for the week and the fridge looks as bare as when we went away :rotfl:. I do need to nip to Mr T's tomorrow for things we can't get in Mr Al's so will top up there.

Think thats all for now. Got all my holiday washing dry today in preparation for rain all day tomorrow :mad: xx
