Afternoon Diary,
The weather is so awful here today , this is what we call a proper british summer!!! Hopefully it will brighten back up next week.
So we enjoyed a long lie in this morning. Was really needed and enjoyed.
DD2 and I have been to Mr T's this afternoon and spent £45 on the things we can't get from Mr Al's . Also filled up my car to the tune of £64 :eek:.
Thanks Beanie, the close family are ok its wider family with various illnesses, 2 with cancer :( they're all having treatment so fingers crossed for the outcome.
Happy Sunday all xxMummytogirls x0 -

Afternoon Diary,
Been pretty boring here today! I suppose boring is better than any drama! Well the most dramatic its got is the kids complaining of stomach ache. Dont know whether its over indulgence or whether they've picked a bug up from the pool. Lets go with option one :rotfl:.
So I've caught up on all of my programmes in the planner and done my ironing. DH cooked tea which was delicious, chicken kiev, roast potatoes and veg followed by chocolate cake and ice cream. Post holiday diet is going well as you can see! Weve also got a couple of meals out this next week for some GCSE results and my birthday.
DH wants to go shopping tomorrow for me something for my birthday but in all honesty there is nothing I want! Might have a look for some winter tops since its fast approaching! Ive still got a Debenhams voucher from Christmas which I haven't spent yet!
Anyway, think thats all xxMummytogirls x0 -
Afternoon Diary,
Cant believe its nearly 4pm already! Weve been out shopping today. Didn't spend too much but managed to get a few things.
DH bought me some boots from new look for my birthday and I still have the Debenhams voucher burning a hole in my purse. Could do with some new mascara but I know I can get it so much cheaper in kiko.
Other spends were £12 on underwear in M&S (hate spending money on underwear :rotfl:) and £17 on lunch in MCD's for me, DH and DD1 and Subway for DD1.
Then finally £2.65 in Mr S on green lentils and milk.
My dad and MIL are giving me money for my birthday so I might have a look on Debenhams online and see if theres any nice jumpers on there.
Im also wanting a hot cloth cleanser from B00ts but they didn't have any in. I have a £5 off voucher to use against this.
Thats about all really. I am making chicken curry for tea and also trying a daal recipe which is why I needed the green lentils.
Hope all ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
I got a hot cloth cleanser from Aldi.
Was fab.

Good Morning Diary,
We have a catch up at home today now as the person we were meeting up with can't do today.. secretly glad!
Yesterday we had a lovely but busy day. Met up with some friends over lunch time at the park. We took a picnic with us so only spent £6 on ice creams. Called in at home bargains on the way home for a few supplies... even things I didn't know I needed :rotfl: £12 spent.
Last night we were out celebrating a family members GCSE results, food was delicious and MIL paid which was nice.
So today the girls need me to take them to Mr Al's for cake ingredients for my birthday. Part of me thinks I should do the food shop whilst I'm there so I don't have to go at the weekend but then I'm thinking il still need fresh fruit etc so think il leave it.
Im going to get ahead with my cleaning today since Im here and wasn't expecting to be! The house is still quite clean and tidy from the holidays so not much to do.
Beanie, is this something they stock all year round? Ive never looked at their beauty products so might take a look when I take the girls today.
Happy Wednesday all xxMummytogirls x0 -
Afternoon Diary,
Had a productive afternoon. We didn't go to Mr Al's we went to Mr A's as there was some ingredients I knew we wouldn't be able to get at Al's. £19 spent also included some coffees for my machine and a couple of packed lunch bits for next week.
I have since cleaned the bathrooms and some of the windows upstairs. Then had the dreaded job of cleaning the wheelie bin _pale_ DH only did it 2 weeks ago but my oven cleaning bag had spilt into it. It wasn't too bad and I'm sure it will have been worse when DH did it the other week!!! Its all nice and shiny again now! Im thinking of doing the recycling bins when they've been out next week.
Also caught up with my ironing.
DH and the girls will be having leftover pizza and pasta from the meal last night but I haven't got any as mine was chicken and veg and I ate the lot :rotfl:. Not sure what to make for my tea! Might just have some cheese on toast or something simple as can't be bothered cooking.
Think thats all, hope all ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
