    You are what you eat. So don't be fast, cheap, easy or fake.

    You messed up your diet and you din't exercise today - so what. You didn't ruin anything. Get back on track tomorrow. If you have one flat tyre you don't slash the other three as well.

    Dear body,
    I'm sorry I've treated you ths way, feeding you the wrong foods and not taking care of you. I promise to do better and get you back to the best shape and fitness level you can be. We can do it.
    sincerely me

    Be yourself. no-one can say you're doing it wrong.

    Still here!

    Back to school this morning, NSD 11 yesterday I think

    re: could they make the Parthenon ?
    No. They are strictly hands-off grandparents.

    Fridge is rammed full of ends of stuff. Whatever was left over after meals was clingfilmed and hidden in there. Made falafel salad boxes for the kids to take to school. So got rid of some, but still I need to get in there and find out what is left.

    I need to bake for lunchboxes today but I am tour guiding and taking them shopping while the kids are at school in return for lunch out.

    Last full day of visitors. They leave late tomorrow morning. They underestimated the amount of time it would take to get here by nearly 3 hours. My overactive guilt gland is in overdrive. Roll on tomorrow lunchtime when I can stop breathing in (English people are so fat aren't they?).

    I sense a 'use it up stew' tomorrow night.

    * for cuddles with DS3
    for DS2 finding the minifigure he wanted by squidging the packs in Sainz :)
    * for good friends :)

    Whohoo!
    Made it to the library and ordered a book that I absolutely want to read. Its a brand new one, so will have to wait till it comes in, but now refusing to buy more books.
    I channelled Foxholes's awesomeness and baked muffins for the "something puddingy" instead of buying tat with added plastic-that-won't-recycle.
    Listed some bits on ebay, took clothes to charity, and donated the old wardrobe too.

    Onward and upward, organised and in control (for the time being ;) )

    evening turtles. Hang on in there f0xh0les, do something nice for you tomorrow.

    A NSD. Did shopping for mum, went there, (had another no sleep night), booked our days out, entered all appointments and events into the calendar, were visited by a small boy and a mad dog (she has calmed down a bit) and I have waded through another box of paperwork, entering any relevant bits into desk diary/ journal and discarding the leftovers. My tea was another mystery parcel from mum's freezer which I made a valiant effort to eat (kidney 'stew', more of a broth really with no onions or carrots in) but added two 1/2 baked potatoes to add some flavour.

    Very tired and hope to sleep soon. Not going to mum's tomorrow but going on Thursday instead - to help two small children bake and ice biscuits. Afternoon appointment tomorrow, will ask for one repeat prescription item which I can pick up after Thursday afternoon's appointment.

    Today I am grateful for pleasant afternoon with a lovely little boy and a slightly matured daft dog (only one scratch from her jumping at/ on top of me), for some pleasant days out to look forward to and that the mystery meal has been eaten and the ones that are left can't be so bad.
    My mission in life is not only to survive,but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.
