Well, today we head off for Cornwall! We're pretty much packed, just need to pack a few more food items and we're done.
I've mentioned about hubby and I setting up a private practice. Well, the major thing was going to be finding premises to rent, not to mention paying for them.
Life has a funny way of helping out. My nan and granddad set up savings policies while they were alive and one recently matured. My mum transferred my share to my account and I think I'll use part of it towards a few month's premises rent, which will help us no end. However, I'm also aware of my debt and wanting to chip away at that so I've also paid an amount of that too. Still a long way to go but it'll make a difference in my monthly payments.
We're going to start looking for premises when we get back from holiday. I feel really excited about it all
So, I'll see you all on the other side. I'll post some pictures of beautiful Cornwall once we're back. Take care, all 0 -

Hi all, well we had a wonderful time in Cornwall! We had some pretty good weather, only rained a couple of times. Managed to get a bit sun burnt :rotfl:
We got back yesterday and holiday blues have set in. Not looking forward to work tomorrow but have cooked the meals for the week. We were hoping to go out today as the weather forecast said "sunny" but it is definitely not that! We'll still go out though, it's just not the same.
We're going to start contacting people to look at premises in the local area for running our private practice this coming week. Need to get in gear with this now as it's something we're both excited about, but the motivation is low due to wanting to be back in Cornwall :rotfl:0 -
