Thanks Cumbria.
I'm happy to report that I had confirmation today that my thesis corrections have been approved and I'll be graduating in July
So pleased and relieved! Spent money on a takeaway and wine tonight. I think it's justified0 -
Oh, and we've been to see one office and due to see someone more over the next week so that's good.
Car is in the garage as it overheated. Turns out there was a leak where the coolant goes in. Luckily it's covered and there's no charge. It's been a good day today0 -
Brilliant news , well done. New outfit then required ! Enjoy your well deserved takeaway and wine. ,

Thanks Seaside Gal. We found an office, today. Hubby and I went during my lunch break. We loved the atmosphere as soon as we stepped in, and it's within our price range. So pleased, exciting times and it all feels like it's coming together well0

I know! We saw one earlier in the week, but it felt too corporate. This felt really down to earth and welcoming0

Some major spends this past week which has pretty much drained my rainy day fund. Costs relating to qualifying (e.g., for graduation, getting registered with the professional body) have worked out to about £450
My car is still in the garage. Apparently the part they ordered last week still hasn't arrived  It's not like it's an uncommon part! So, I'm having to commute to work on the train which is tiring as it's two trains, plus a mile walk to work at the end. I haven't done this in years and I forgot what a pain it is, especially as our train was held outside the station for 45 minutes the other day. It's £10 per day for a ticket, so extra money I didn't want to spend. In hindsight I should have got a courtesy car, but it seemed as though my car would be fixed pretty quickly.
So anyway, I'm just really tired at the moment as the commute is taking it out of me. Fingers crossed I get the car back by the end of this week!0
