Mr SA has had lots of MRI scans on his brain and has to wear a helmet too which he hates. He’s never been offered music though. I’m claustrophobic I’d hate it.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

The operator did say the new machines are much brighter and have a larger tube than older ones but it still felt very closed in to me. I had a mask/frame over my face though and another on my chest so I don't think those help. I tthought music was standard, it wasn't loud as they also talk to you through the headphones but it was quite soothing.
Poor Mr SA he must get fed up with the messing. I've had a bit of invasive stuff recently plus these scans and am pretty much a pin cushion from needles and will be glad when they're finished.3 -

Can’t believe the queues for the park across the road’s firework display 😱 Never seen so many people. At a cost of £5 each they must be raking it in. To be fair it’s a good display and there are tents with mulled wine, hot drinks, hot dogs, etc. Took the kids a couple of times when they were young. Prefer to watch it from my window for free and in the warm though 😆
DD has gone to a friends house to help her with her kids and fireworks. She was looking for her wellies in the cupboard under the stairs. She couldn’t find them so I asked her when she last saw them - 3 years ago apparently 🙄I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
View of the park’s display from the comfort of my bedroom window seat. Our road is like a giant car park at the minute. Fortunately the house across the road doesn’t have a car but if she did she’d be stuffed for getting out thanks to inconsiderate parking.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Morning, happy Sunday.
The oddbox is here, apparently it arrived just before 10pm. I went to bed shortly before so only just missed it. I’ll post a photo before I dismantle it. There’s quite a bit in it but not sure if I think it’s worth £12.99. I’m pretty certain I’d pay less in Lidl. This one was half price as it’s my first one. I wouldn’t bother with fruit again, I’d go for all veg. There’s a couple of apples and oranges and loads of golden kiwis.Veg wise:
butternut squash
bunched carrots
potatoes
yellow pepper
spinach
cabbage
cucumber
There’s a leaflet telling you where it’s come from, what needs using first and where to store it. Also a recipe for sticky whole baked carrots that sounds nice. Their website has a lot of recipes too. Apparently the overnight delivery is to reduce emissions, I wondered if that was the case. I noticed not everything is from the UK.Today should be NSD 3/12. Not going far today, could do with tidying up the garden, it’s covered in leaves. Some things need moving into the greenhouse for winter.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
