ooo with ten minutes to spare, Happy Birthday SA XXXXXXXXX Sun_Addict said:Thank you everyone 😁 Weather is great here, sitting in the sun reading my book, which is exactly what I’d be doing on holiday ☀️
Nevertheless she persisted.6 -
Thank you for all my birthday messages 😊Setting off for B&Q in a bit to get the paint and tap. Mr SA still in bed, told him he’s got to get up soon we have to be back for 9. Weather looks cloudy today, as long as it stays dry will get some gardening done.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Ended up going to B&Q on my own, Mr SA wouldn’t get up. Walked there got a taxi back. Shop was empty at that time. Didn’t have a clue which tap to choose or how much paint to get. Got a huge tub of white for the mist coat and ceilings and 3 big tubs of a pale cream for the walls. I’d rather have too much than not enough.Got a Mr M order coming shortly and there are no subs or missing items 🥳I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Happy belayed birthday wishes from me too SA.
The plastering sounds as if it’s going well. Is this the last room of the house makeover now. You have done so well getting it all sorted. Bet it’s looking lovely now 👍January spends - £587.585 -
Thank you for the belated birthday greetings 😊
The kitchen is finished. Looks brilliant with a fresh coat of paint. He’s painting the spare room tomorrow then that’s him done. He’s a hard worker he doesn’t stop.@milann still got the living room to do, that’s the last room to refurbish. Will have to wait until next year as it’s another complete makeover. Spent enough on the house this year.We had to have a meal deal from Mr T for lunch as the kitchen was out of bounds. Mr SA wasn’t overly impressed 😆
No relaxing today have cleared the front drive where some weeds wild flowers 😉 had taken over in a corner. It was hard work but now have the full drive back. We had the front garden and drive completely paved over a few years ago, it’s a really big area so it was easy to overlook the corner bit. The garden waste bin was emptied today, it’s already full again.Just having shop bought pizza and salad tonight, don’t feel like faffing about making things from scratch.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
