Enjoy your time with your friend and glad you will get a break. Shame it is so far as I guess it is a pain when you are reliant on public transport.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. I’ve been offered 12 weeks free gym/classes courtesy of being an unpaid carer. At one stage I’d have jumped at the chance but now I’ve discovered all the workouts available on YouTube and the WW app without having to leave my house not so sure I’m interested 😕I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

I can see the advantages/disadvantages of the exercise class. If you're home you can supervise MrS_A. if you're away you at least get a break.5

Personally I always find going to my local health club to exercise is better both from a social aspect and the feeling of getting out of the house. They put the workouts online but I don't often watch them. Having said that the health club has a gym, a pool, classes, a spa and a cafe so a big incentive to go there rather than stay at home. Would it not be nice for you to do so you get a break from Mr SA? Is it difficult to get to as I know you don't drive.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. I’ve got a fairly decent home gym but get to my 30 days I’m rejoining the gym gym. Wife rejoined when she could, home workouts not quite the same imo and if you get the offer to surely a win win.Hadn’t realised you haven’t got a car at all fml must be a nightmare.4

I have gym equipment at home so it’s just classes I’d be going to. The local leisure centre is about 15 minutes walk away and has a pool but no cafe. I wouldn’t use the pool, I don’t swim. The membership I’ve been offered states I can only go once a week but I used it 3 times a week last time and no one said anything. What’s putting me off is that last time I’d turn up for a class and be the only one there so it would be cancelled and I’d end up walking back home without having done a class. I think the first thing to do is to see if there are any classes I fancy at times to suit me.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6
