Finally some good news to report - DIL took me to The Range to exchange the mirror, I also picked up a couple more bits for the bedroom. When we got back DS had put up the curtain pole and the TV bracket. And the Ninja is working, must’ve just been a bit damp. 🥳 I’ll need to paint over the grey plaster but getting closer to finishing the bedroom now 🥳👏I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

For years I’ve had a beautiful tree in my garden that flowers late May/early June but never known what it was called. I’ve even had people knock on my door and ask if they can take a cutting. Anyway I had a very nice catch up with a neighbour this morning in a local coffee shop and she said to me your Tamarisk tree looks beautiful. So that’s what it is 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Happy Sunday. Loving this weather ☀️Going to Wilko this morning for some more compost, planning on lots of gardening today. Also need some other household bits and some paint for our old chest of drawers as DD wants them but wants black to match her desk and they’re white.Mr SA is all excited about the football this afternoon, I’ll be in the garden with my book and a glass of rose.Watched The Woman in the Window film last night.
