It’s a bit like Tai Chi, supposed to energise you. It was ok, lots of stretching, wouldn’t bother with it again, I was a bit bored after 20 minutes.

Happy Thursday, cloudy this morning but sun supposed to be coming out later

Not been out yet, waiting for Lidl to open, Mr SA wants an England shirt going on sale there today 🙄 Need a few other bits though.

Thank goodness I decided on vinyl flooring for the bedroom, Mr SA has had an accident this morning!

The new headboard was meant to be delivered yesterday late morning/early afternoon and it didn't turn up. Got an email message last night to say they tried to deliver it and no one was in. What a lie! I was in the dining room at my desk and Mr SA was watching TV in the living room. Plus the dog barks at every vehicle that pulls up within a 10 miles radius of our house. It's that XDP delivery company again, the one I had trouble with last year when I ordered the heated airer from Aldi. They are absolutely rubbish 😣 Still not heard anything about returning the mirror either. Have tried ringing several times but just go into a queue forever, emailed customer services and no response from them. If I've had no joy by Saturday I'm going to ask DIL if she'll run me there to exchange it while they're here on a visit with the GKs. Not heard from the odd job man either. Feel like everything is going wrong at the final hurdle.

That's often the way with projects - you get them 90% done but the last 10% is harder work than the rest put together.

How frustrating for you S_A. It's the little things that are the hardest sometimes.

I feel your pain with the last minute complications getting your bedroom sorted. It’s so frustrating. Don’t even get me going about workmen not showing up to finish a job.....what’s up with them all....taking too much work on and juggling jobs I think 😡😡

The headboard arrived at lunchtime. The delivery bloke apologised that it should’ve been delivered yesterday but they didn’t put it on his van. So why did they send me a message saying no one was home 🤬 I wouldn’t have minded so much if they just said change of delivery day. No further on with anything else.

Because that option means you get the black mark and not whoever messed up.

I think you are amazing juggling caring for Mr SA, working and running the house!  Even so Mediterranean chicken without dumplings must have been disappointing for him 🤣

He got dumplings tonight with his beef in ale 😆 Not exactly summer food but he’s happy and I needed to use up the yoghurt.

DIL is going to take me to The Range on Saturday to exchange the mirror. Still not heard from their customer services. Won’t be buying online again from them. It’s a beautiful mirror, such a shame it arrived broken.

DS is going to help Mr SA with the curtain pole and TV bracket if I don’t hear from the odd job man. I’m praying I hear from him, DS isn’t much better than Mr SA at DIY 😱
