I did say I had more than enough Buddhas dotted around the house and garden but couldn’t resist the sleeping Buddha I saw yesterday so themed the bedroom around him 💕 The curtains are actually bright blue voile panels, we have no one overlooking us so no need for proper curtains and I hate the dark so ideal.

Most of my house and garden is Mediterranean themed. I love my holidays, missing them very much at the moment. 

Today should be NSD11 and will be the final one of May. Still got a few bits to buy for the bedroom but they can wait until next week. Must enter the spends on my budget spreadsheet to keep track of them. Fortunately most of the things I bought were less than I’d estimated. Can see me falling out with Mr SA over the wardrobes as he’s not closing the doors properly and leaving them slightly open which spoils the look 😠 He is unbelievably untidy and I seem to be forever picking up after him.

Really need to crack on with the garden today, after all the recent rain it’s like a jungle. It seems like almost overnight three huge ferns have appeared round the pond, making it even more jungle like. Got loads of plants to plant. Have put the raised beds together ready to grow veg in, argued with Mr SA about how to put them together/where to put them, told him to butt out it’s my project not his 😠
