Thank you for your lovely comments. Most of the time I just roll up my sleeves and get on with it but last night it particularly got me down. It just made me feel sad when I looked through FB and one friend was showing off a new nail colour and another one was enjoying a lovely meal out. What was I doing mopping up wee and picking up slug pellets 😩I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

I got a kidney infection years ago on holiday and the next day was due to drive home 6 hours - I went to boots and bought some Tena pads as knew I couldn’t be stopping on the motorway every 10 mins for a wee. To test them I poured a litre of water into them straight from a jug and they caught every last little bit if it with no leakage - they might be able to cope ? Your GP can get you them prescribed. (I ended up at a walk in centre and started straight onto anti b so luckily was ok)Sealed pot challenge 822

Good to hear Mr SA is speaking to the doctor. I hope he manages to get all the relevant information across (maybe you need to be listening in?)

He spoke to the doctor while I was in my workshop and gave her completely the wrong information saying he’s only been like this for a month! I made him ring back and put me on the phone to explain. Anyway the upshot is he’s to go to the incontinence clinic at our local health centre plus give a water and blood sample to rule out infection.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9

I’m so pleased Mr SA has spoken to a doctor about his problem. It must be so hard for you all.Tradesmen are so hard to get hold of atm. Nobody I have been in contact with seems to want a job or keeps appointments 😡😡😡 I’ve spoken to 3 workmen about levelling outside and putting fencing up - they’ve all said they’ll give us quotes but non have come up trumps. I posted it on 2 sites yesterday that advertise jobs and had no replies whatsoever........January spends - £587.585

The painter has been and is going to text me the quote. He can start next week if I’m happy with the price. I’d earmarked £480 for decorating so as long as it’s not shed loads over I’ll go with it.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6
