She’s part tortoiseshell part tabby Beanie. As the vet once said crabby tabby and naughty tortie all rolled into one. DD rescued her from a pet shop just over 10 years ago. She was in a small fish tank all on her own. Needless to say the pet shop was subsequently closed down.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Morning all, happy Thursday
Have just been to the big Mr T for a few bits that were missing on the Mr M order. The pavements were really icy one side of the road but clear the other which was weird. Just over 7k steps done so a good start to the day.
The fruit and veg box is due to be delivered today. I seem to have spent a fortune on groceries this week and not got a lot to show for it.
Can you believe the dog has started limping and holding her paw up now. No idea what she's done to it as she was fine last night.
Will be busy work-wise this morning as I'm helping with the presentation of a training course. Hoping for a quiet afternoon thought so I can catch with things.
Exercise will be abs/core workout after work and walking the dog if she stops limping. Cleaning is the bathroom. Tonight's dinner is butternut squash and kale curry that's been in the freezer since October according to the label, better finish it off!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
That curry sounds lovely.
Your dog is going through the wars this week. Hope it is nothing too serious!
Ours is a swine for playing the wounded soldier when he doesn't get his own way or he is told off. He will start limping for no reason at all until he gets some attention again.6 -
The fruit and veg box has just arrived and it’s amazing. Really pleased with it. Far too much fruit in it just for me though. Mr SA and DD don’t eat much fruit. The quality is fantastic and it would cost a lot more than £15 if you bought it in a supermarket. It’s come from the wholesale market. Definitely getting another one next week, might get the veg and salad one. I’ve got apples, pears, oranges, plums, raspberries, grapes, blueberries, bananas, potatoes, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, onions, green beans, carrots and mushrooms 👍I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

That box sounds great.5

£15 for all that? That sounds like really good value. Lovely cat.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. That veg box sounds really impressive. I really must stop being lazy & look into them as we have replaced over half the meat we used to eat with veg. We do have a famous market near here but I'm going nowhere near at present. Is it possible your dog has a canine version of sciatica? It would account for the intermittent effect.7

The dog’s leg is fine now. I think she was favouring that leg as it’s the one she had blood taken from yesterday. She’s just been for a good run on the park with no problems.I think next week I’ll get the veg, salad and fruit one, although I’m tempted by the Mediterranean box 🤔 I’ve also been looking into meat boxes for Mr SA direct from a local-ish butcher.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
