We had a fresh batch of snow overnight so the pavements are covered again after thawing out yesterday. Not too bad though.

I've got a Mr M delivery coming later, should be ok as our road is on the flat and by the time they get here the roads should be clearer. I've also took the plunge and ordered a fruit and veg box for Thursday £17 including delivery for a family sized one, it's coming from a local market. I'll see what I think anyway, if it's good I'll be a regular customer. The quality of fresh stuff from the Mr M online shop is very hit and miss so I'm hoping this is a lot better.

Will be on dog walking duties again today as Mr SA won't be able to get out on his scooter unless the pavements thaw. After work exercise is a core/abs workout. Cleaning is the living room. Currently undecided on what to make for my dinner tonight, going to have a root around in the fridge and freezer to see what needs using up. Mr SA is sorted, he's having slow cooker beef stew.

The snow is very disappointing here. Was forecast to be heavy snow all night but we have only got a very light dusting.

The one time we have nowhere to go and wouldn't mind some proper snow and we don't get it!

Will swap.

I spoke to the vet earlier and she wants to see the dog tomorrow morning. I went to the local shops after work to get her some chicken. I steamed it and she wolfed it down. So she was hungry.

Forgot to say Mr SA is insisting on coming with me tomorrow even though there’s no point. He knows there’s a Costa near the vets. I told him there’s no way I’m queuing up to get him a Costa. He said why not, so he was thinking about it after all 😩

Re Costa if it's the one on Plains Rd not been that busy during the week recently so long as not lunch time and even then not massive queues. Want to know how busy the cafes are NG1 or NG3 anytime hit me up ha.

Hope the doggie is ok, it is such a worry when they are ill, one of mine keeps limping, but it is really weird cos he will do it one minute and then the next be fine. Last time I took him to the vets over it they found nothing wrong. 
I am watching Friends and it is so funny.

The vet can’t find anything wrong with the dog. She asked if I wanted blood tests done for piece of mind so I said yes. Might as well have the full works. Will get the results tomorrow. Just got to ring up and pay the bill now 😱

My legs are aching after doing 14,000 steps in my snow boots, didn’t realise how heavy they are. The pavements were treacherous so had to walk very slowly on the way down the hill, it was better walking uphill on the way back. Mr SA didn’t come with us in the end as the pavements were too icy for his scooter. 

The dog has just eaten a full sachet of dog food so she must be feeling better.
