Morning folks, happy Friday 😁🎉
Thank goodness it's Friday. Apparently the dog and cat were playing up at 1am and Mr SA had to sort them out. I slept through it all thankfully.
I should be facilitating on a training course this morning but the trainer has gone off sick. They're trying to get hold of another trainer, not heard anything yet, so don't really know what I'm supposed to be doing this morning. Got another meeting this afternoon so I'm hoping the training will be cancelled as the training is 10-1 and the meeting is 1-3. Really don't fancy sitting at my desk 6 hours solid.
Today will be NSD 11. I should've been at the hairdressers this afternoon but obviously that's not going to happen. Cleaning is the spare room/gym. Exercise activity is rest day but I'll be doing Joe's PE and walking the dog. Need to decide what I'm having for dinner tonight, will be something out of the freezer. Mr SA is having fish, chips and mushy peas. Not used the big oven for 2 weeks now.
Looking forward to logging off for the weekend and putting my feet up with a gin tonight 😁

Along with the plan for the finances, another mission this year is to go for promotion again. I'm more than capable of the work at the next grade up and it would mean another £6k a year and more money for my pension pot. The first step is to look at the competencies required and match them to what I'm doing now and whether I need to do a bit more towards them. I'm already taking on quite a few extra roles in preparation.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)10

It's great to hear that you getting on so well with your Ninja buys . Makes you wonder if ovens will go out of fashion in the future , it would save space in kitchen I guess.I read on another post about Eve magazine I intend to take a look at it sounds good to me .Promotion is a brilliant thing to aim for , as you say it boosts the final salary for your pension. Can't be long off window fitting now .Enjoy your tipple later .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.7

New bay windows and door being fitted on Monday. Need to motivate Mr SA into helping me move the cabinet in the hallway so they have a clear run to the door. Plus must remember to take the living room and bedroom curtains down Monday morning. We’ve been in this house for 29 years and these are the only windows and door we haven’t replaced so long overdue. It’s not a cheap do as they are big bays and the front door is actually at the side of the house and a door unit with two sides rather than just a straightforward door. Once these are done we can think about getting the plastering done in these rooms.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)10
