Good going on Mr S's Xmas present SA - very MSE!👍. What aftershave did you buy?I've copied you re. eyebrows and bought some eyebrow tint today. I'm going to give a go at the weekend. My eyebrows (or what is left of them) are black but I've bought a very dark brown shade in case the black tint was too 'black' - if you understand what I mean!🤣Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Dior Eau Savage @Seasidegal58 it had a free gift set with it too. Mr SA likes his smellies and likes that particular one. My go to perfume is Chanel Coco Mademoiselle but have plenty to keep me going for now. I got myself an Elemis gift set from QVC for Mr SA to wrap up for me, it was a really good deal £184 worth for £51.95 👍 I love QVC for deal of the day, have had some brilliant bargains. Not that I sit there watching it on TV, I’m on their mailing list and get the heads up on deals early.
Set up my docking station so back up and running with two screens again thank goodness. Still prefer three screens but it will do. Not so many wires everywhere either which is a pet hate of mine. Helped DD set up the router booster so the Virgin router is now effectively just a modem. My kids are so non techie it’s unbelievable. Having said that I’m working with IT all day and quite savvy with it.Sent a shirty email to Mr M. They had sent me an email asking for feedback on yesterday’s order and boy did they get it - and then some 🤣Today’s positives:
1. Back up and running with the work IT
2. Successful shopping trip to the big Mr T
3. Made a good start on Christmas gift buying
So all in all an improvement on the last two days 👍I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
You've managed some excellent bargains SA - especially on the Elemis set! I've got quite a lot of perfume left too - I used to wear it every day for work - WFH has put paid to that!Glad you've got two screens back - I can't stand working with one screen - drove me up the wall when I first started WFH!Hopefully Mr M will send you some decent value vouchers! Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

What I’m really missing this time of year is my pre-Christmas catch ups with friends, work trips to Birmingham with a coffee stop in the Bullring Pret pre meeting and lunch in All Bar One in Grand Central before catching the train home and work trips to London, a good look around St Pancras and some Christmas shopping in whichever part I have to be in for the meeting. Such simple pleasures but scuppered thanks to blooming Covid 😩👎I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)10

Morning 😎
Lockdown v2 Day 1 😒
Have been out locally to pick up a paper, 70p spent, don't plan on spending anything else today. Bumped into a neighbour on the way so we had a quick chat.
Today's to do list:
1. Work
2. Take the dog on the park at lunchtime
3. Clean the bathroom and mop all the floors
4. Spanish
5. Yoga after work
6. Make bean and lentil chilli for tonight's dinner (for me). Mr SA is having sausage and mash in a giant Yorkshire pudding.
Have a thrilling Thursday x

Morning, happy Friday 😁
Lockdown v2 Day 2.
Didn't get around to posting yesterday's positives, I was so tired last night:
1. Grateful that neither of my pets are bothered by fireworks - the cat was sat in the window watching them and the dog was asleep.
2. Found a new You Tube exercise class called Maxercise and it's brilliant, the woman who does it is bonkers, loads of fun.
3. Very low spend day, just 70p on a paper.
Today's to do list:
1. Work
2. Clean bedroom
3. Take the dog on the park
4. Run on the treadmill after work and some weights
5. Spanish
6. Freezer inventory, getting a bit crammed again
Should be a NSD today, will be the first one of November. Not planning on going to the shops, not even for a paper.
Having a homemade butternut squash and kale curry tonight out of the freezer. Mr SA is having fish, chips and mushy peas.
Have a fabulous Friday x

Have sorted a few bits and bobs that can be counted as today’s positives:
1. Rang my dentist and have got an appointment in 2 weeks for a check up and hygienist - I hate going to the dentist but has to be done
2. Have set Mr SA’s prescription up with Echo so will now get it delivered rather than wait for ages in the cold outside the local chemist while they very slowly serve one customer
3. Have rediscovered a running podcast I used to use years ago and did a treadmill run after work then used the WW app to do a weights workout before jumping into a lovely hot bath
4. Today was a NSD
DIL has let me know what to get the GKs for Christmas and looks like the toy DGD wants is out of stock everywhere 😩 Hopefully will come back into stock soon.
DS’s cat is still missing 😥
Mr SA tried to get a check up at his dentist and they told him to ring back next year 👎 He’s NHS I’m private at different dentists.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9
