Thank you Greenbee 👍 I really haven’t had any extra time like some folks. I know I’m lucky to still be working full time but it annoys me when the general consensus seems to be everyone is sat around watching box sets and getting jobs done.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

You are certainly very busy SA, especially with learning a new role and you don't have time to get loads done in the week. I did hardly anything last week when I was at school. You always amaze me with how much you get done at the weekends

I’ve not got much done today other than shopping HH. I just thought it could well be the last day of good weather for a while so wanted to make the most of it. Plenty of time to get other jobs done.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

I can only agree with @greenbee - and you get loads done in your day whilst coping with a full time job. You run a family home - really single handedly - whilst caring for a disabled husband who we know isn't the easiest person to live with. Plus you have the sole worry of the family finances. It's fairly easy to do lots of things if you haven't got your workload. And you've had the added stress lately of learning a new job routine whereby you will be helping quite a few distressed and upset people.Have a virtual hug and a bottle of 🍾 - you're a star!⭐️Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Aw thanks all of you ❤
So today I have done the live Insanity class and some cleaning. Weather is lovely again so very tempted to sit out. Finally finished my latest book, still not able to concentrate properly.
Had a bit of a barney with Mr SA over the walls in the spare room. The wallpaper needs stripping off prior to decorating and they are in a really bad state, as I suspected, and in desperate need of plastering. Mr SA is insistent he isn't paying out for a plasterer and he can do it himself - he really can't and is being really stubborn. I gave in to him over the walls in our bedroom and the living room which are both in need of plastering, we painted them and they look blooming awful, all bumpy, and he can't see what's wrong. We've had all the walls in the house re-plastered apart from these three rooms and the difference is fantastic, worth every penny and really not that expensive all considered. Once they've been done they're done in my opinion. I will go over his head and get it done properly, obviously not right now but when things are back to normal.
I've been all techie and have set up the TV in the dining room, currently not been able to use as don't have an aerial, to run off my phone/iPad using a cable purchased from eBay. I can now do You Tube workouts, watch BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub etc on this TV without the need for an aerial 😁 Have also ordered an Amazon Echo speaker so I can listen to music - just the basic one, I don't want it to do anything fancy just play music.
Jobs to do while off work next week:
1. Strip wallpaper in spare bedroom
2. Set up new carpet cleaner and clean carpets in bedroom and hall/stairs - DD has also said she's going to do her bedroom carpet
3. Give myself a manicure and pedicure
4. Have a look to see if I can get my house insurance for any cheaper than £125 for the year before I renew it
5. Renew Prima magazine subscription with Tesco Clubcard vouchers
6. Pack away all my winter clothes/boots and get my summer clothes/sandals out (hence the pedicure)
7. Do a meal plan and restart myself back properly on WW as have been adrift somewhat recently
8. Relax and forget about work for a week
Now to do the cleaning I didn't get round to yesterday...

One thing ticked off the list already - renewed the Prima subscription with Tesco Clubcard vouchers 😁
Currently making a sweet potato and courgette stew a recipe from my Deliciously Ella plant based cookbook. Folks were raving about it on the Deliciously Ella Friends FB group so we'll see if they're right.
I've just realised it's payday again next week, time flies when you're having fun 🤣

Evening all 😎
Got loads done today. Got all my summer clothes/sandals out and packed away winter clothes/boots. Ended up spring cleaning the bedroom at the same time, took pretty much all day.The Echo Dot came and I’ve got it set up.Did Joe’s PE and ran 5k.Got a lovely little wooden pocket hug message thing through the post from the GKs. It was so nice to receive it 💕Shame the weather has turned cloudy but I’ve got loads to do indoors.Plan for tomorrow is strip the spare room. Managed to make Mr SA realise the room is far too small for him to “help”. Really don’t need him stumbling about and getting in the way.Should’ve been flying to Lanzarote tomorrow 😥 😩😥I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Wow well done with all you got done today
. I'd forgotten you had some holiday from work. We have an Echo and it's very useful.
I agree that you should go over Mr SA's head and get a plasterer in by the way. If you're paying for it then he shouldn't have any reason to complain and you want it to look nice and smooth and not all lumpy. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
