Another manic day at work, at least the day flew by.
March goals: Gym session 1/12 at lunchtime, AFD 2/12 and NSD 2/12.
Going to try Pilates for the first time tomorrow. Someone's going to take classes at work. Looking forward to it.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Bangs head against brick wall. Mr SA has heard some news about a roofing firm he used to work for being really busy. I've just spent ages explaining to him why he can't go back to roofing.
What with that and the several times he's now told me Bill Durham has got cancer (he actually rang me at work this morning to tell me!) plus him asking what he's having for his dinner on Saturday when it's only Tuesday, I'm now losing the plotI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Oh dear, oh dear.
No wonder you are loosing the plotxx

Half way through the week already
Helping out with a work event today most of the day so been really busy. Then did the Pilates which was great, I'm sure my a$$ will hurt like mad tomorrow or Friday. Then went back to my desk for a bit to find an email telling me I haven't got through the sift for the jobAgain
This time it was because there was a personal statement on the application for which you had to use no more than 500 words to complete. I used 300 then decided I'd waffled enough. Not good enough apparently, I should've used the 500. Annoyed with myself for not realising this although this is the job where I suspected they already have someone in mind for the role, so I would've been shocked if I'd got through. Still disappointed though
Also, despite telling Mr SA I wouldn't be able to answer my phone due to event and Pilates, I had 8 missed calls from him. Rang back to find it was nothing.
On the way home I picked up a bottle of wine from Lidl and I'm having some tonight and I don't care that I can't declare another AFD.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
