Painter is coming tomorrow
Meal plan done, this is just evening meals:
Tonight - salmon, roast veg and steamed veg
Monday - home made fish pie with swede mash and veg
Tuesday - Thai red curry (using up a Thai red curry kit bought ages ago
Wednesday - tuna steak, pepper stuffed with greens rice (using up bag of greens rice)
Thursday - stir fry
Friday - fish and butternut squash chips
Saturday - pizza, wedges and salad
This is just my menu, Mr SA wouldn't touch any of the above with a barge pole apart from the pizza. He doesn't do fish unless it's in batter and the only veggie meal he does is margherita pizza.
Here we go soon be Monday again, got to do a full week this weekI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
So pleased you enjoyed your shopping day.
What is it with workmen not turning up - out of all the work we've had done this last year or so - there's only been 1 turned up on time every day he was supposed to..all the rest have had a car break, wife in hospital, fallen off a ladder, been held up on another job, been stuck in traffic.....I've heard all the excuses going and am convinced the ones I've used just say yes to every job to secure the work then juggle them best they can.....January spends - £587.580 -

He didn't but he came today. The thing is he's cheap and he does a good job. Thankfully this is the last room we'll be having professionally painted for a long time.
Mega busy at work, absolutely manic and everything needs doing yesterday
The beast from the east has sort of hit us here in spurts. One minute it's snowing, the next it's sunny and the snow has gone. Bitterly cold thoughRoll on Spring.

Hi SA - just caught up with your diary. I think you did the right thing with the pension - it’s tiny in the pension scheme of things and I’m sure you’ll put it to good use in the home. Are you telling Mr SA though?!
Well done with WW too!:j. How lovely to be a size 8! I think I WAS eight last time I was that size!
Hope you hear positive news soon on the job situation. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
