Happy Friday folks
Well for the third and hopefully final time I'm debt free :j CC cleared today. So starting from April payday I'll be able to start seriously start putting some money into savings :j
Went for a run in the gym at lunchtime, enjoyed it and it was much needed.
Didn't go out after work, instead I finished work when I'd done my hours. If I'd gone out I wouldn't have got home until at least 6pm. I was only planning on staying an hour anyway.
Mr SA's scooter is in for service and they've provided him with a bright orange one to use until it's ready. The scooter place got into trouble with Motability for leaving him without a scooter for a few days last year so he always gets a courtesy one now. So he should as he's stuck indoors without it.
Feet up on the sofa with the dog on my knee and a glass of wine now, happy daysI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Happy Friday

Happy Saturday
Cherry the savings start from April payday onwards although have been slightly scuppered by having to buy a new lawnmower today. Our lawnmower just isn't cutting the grass, DS had a go at it but declared it uselessHave ordered a cordless one from Argos. Mr SA wanted a petrol one but given that he struggled with starting the last one we had I put my foot down. I wanted one that would be easy for me to use too. A corded one is no good as Mr SA just cuts through the cord  The cost will have to come out of savings as don't have enough in spends fund to cover it. It's needed though, we can't not cut the grass.
Unbelievably have lost 1lb at WWThis has taken me to 3lbs under goal and into the next stone bracket. I was quite shocked to be honest as I haven't really been on it properly for the last two weeks. Need to be good this coming week so it doesn't go back on. There are no meals out planned until 12 April. Ideally I'd like to be 5lb under goal by holiday so I can relax a bit and not worry about going over goal.
DS and the GKs came today. GD is still covered in chicken pox but no longer contagious. GS was really well behaved for a change today but then he was occupied running around in the garden and this seems to be key.
The latest on my work friend in a coma in Spain is that she's still there and in a coma but they plan to bring her round slowly. It's been 5 weeks now and she's still not out of the woods. Apparently last week wasn't a good one for her but she's through it thankfully.
Plans for tomorrow are to tidy up the garden, finish cleaning the house, sort out my holiday clothes and finish the book I'm reading. Definitely no spending!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
