Have a great holiday. I hope Mr SA enjoys himself too and is not too much of a trial for you. The weird packing made me smile but I guess it is his brain injury. Maybe he can only focus on a few things and the lypsalve and man bags are the things at the moment.

Thank you for the happy holiday wishes. 

Taxi is coming at 10.30. They rang me this morning to say they hadn’t received payment. I thought I was paying cash in the taxi and had withdrawn the money especially.  Apparently not, I’ve had to pay by card. Oh well.

£4.84 oddment sent to Christmas pot this morning. CC paid off. 

It’s a good job I checked Mr SA’s hand luggage, he’d got his shaver, toothbrush and several chargers in there 😩 

We’ve taken the dog for a good run on the park so she’ll probably sleep until DD gets up. I’ll really miss her and the cats but they’ll be fine with DD, although they won’t get fed at 5am.

The massive black and white tomcat was in our garden this morning and he was chasing the older cat. I had to clear him off. The younger cat came in soaking wet, she must’ve fallen in the pond in her bid to escape him. It’s really upset them and they’re very jumpy. 

Tuned into a WW live session earlier and by coincidence it was a Greek food special. I put in the chat bar how apt as I’ll be in Greece later today 😆

Mr SA won’t be getting a scooter until tomorrow so tonight we’ll have to eat at the hotel. No hardship as their food is lovely, they grow their own veg. We should be there around 8pm if everything is on time.

How strange - ours had one last week, as did other shops locally when there was a power cut. Huge wastage, though understandable as they won't want to be sued by people experiencing food poisoning. Someone suggested that they don't have a backup generator due to being near housing (noise pollution) but when I thought about it, the only residences nearby are over shops on the High Street. Those must have several layers of building between them and the potential site of generators.

I wonder if it's policy not to have generators, or just co-incidence that it happened twice in short succession?

We got here an hour later than expected due to thunderstorms in Austria. I was dreading the turbulence but it wasn’t as bad as they anticipated. However we got here too late for an evening meal so have had a packet of cheese and onion Lays between us which isn’t ideal 😬 I’ve told Mr SA I’m not flying in the afternoon again just because he can’t be bothered to get up early, you lose your first day.
