He forgot his face cream though 🤦‍♀️ Costa Sal is in Puerto del Carmen where we’re staying. Weather is indeed gorgeous.

Forgot to say Costa Sal is the Matagorda end near the airport. We are nearer the harbour end.

If she sees a small blonde woman trotting behind a large bloke on a mobility scooter (shouting at him to watch where he’s going) that may well be me 😆 We are staying at Bahia Kontiki on the road known locally as cardiac hill. It’s steep but not as steep as the hills where we live.

Morning 😎

Mr SA had a fall last night in a bar in the men’s toilets. Took two blokes to get him back up. I had a feeling this was going to happen as he was very wobbly on his legs yesterday. Not helped by the fact he had sandals on and insists on using a walking pole not his stick. Fortunately he’s ok. 

He’s still not got the watch he wanted but it’s imminent I think. He’s also after yet another man bag 🤦‍♀️

Phoned DD and all is ok at home. The dog keeps sitting in the window looking for us but is eating and chasing her ball. I feel so awful for leaving her. At least she’s not in kennels though. The kitten is sleeping on DD’s pillow instead of mine and the older cat just takes it in her stride.

Not sure what we’re doing today but the weather is gorgeous. Probably walking then a stop off for lunch, sitting in the sun reading this afternoon then out at night for a drink and food.

It’s so hard that we can’t explain to pets what is happening 😢

Oh dear, but at least there always seem to be helpful people around. I think you're brave even going on hols with all the logistics etc. Frustrating that he doesn't keep himself as safe as he might.

Hope you're feeling the benefit of being in one of your favourite places with the sun shining and some warmth on your skin at long last. What's another man bag compared to that eh? Wishing you many relaxing hours with drinks and books and not too much repeat shopping
