Morning. 

It’s a shame we’re going to have to change this room, it has a fantastic view of the beach and it’s literally steps from the sea front but too far a walk from the reception where Mr SA will need to keep the scooter. Plus all those steps. The receptionist said we could change to one closer if he struggled. 

The hotel is fabulous, only a couple of years old and has a chill out terrace, very spa like. The room is huge, massive bathroom and TVs in the bedroom and lounge with English channels so Mr SA will be happy. 

Had a lovely Indian meal last night and slept well. 

The sun is just coming out, forgot it doesn’t get light until late here.

Was the hotel not aware of Mr SAs mobility difficulties? If they were seem silly to put you somewhere he has difficulty accessing.

Despite that glad to hear you arrived safely and slept well. Have a good rest and enjoy the sun.

Mr SA wanted a sea view, we knew it would be up some steps but didn’t realise just how many. We’ve never stayed here before so don’t know it. I went for a wander this morning and the rooms around the pool would be ideal as they are right by the reception and on the flat rather than the hill. The scooter is being delivered in 30 minutes so I’ll ask for a room change then.

We got the room changed to an accessible one round the pool that is so much better for Mr SA. He can drive the scooter into the room to charge. The reception staff have been really helpful. The weather is hot and sunny. Relaxing now.
