Hear! Hear! With a young family (2 under 3) nearly all the clubcard deals are of no interest to me. I save them up for redeeming against my Christmas shop...... (Sorry Mr Lewis!)

Take them to Legoland and stay in the Marriott Windsor the night before for a geat weekend away....or take them to the zoo....there are loads of days out for little ones!!!

I seem to remember Tesco doing this with car insurance too - just get a quote and 500 points will be added to your account.....I never received mine, nor did many other people. Are they actually adding the points there and then, or just telling you they will be added?? I don't trust Tesco much anymore!!!

I was expecting my points this quarter- I seem to remember they said they would be given with the November statements. I rang up today and the customer services lady said she knew nothing of this deal. I said I wasn't happy to just leave it like that as Tesco are always offering things that don't
materialise. She said wait until Feb 2008 to see if I get them but I asked her to look into it and call me back. I bet it will be the same with the presciption points. We really shouldn't have to chase these everytime.
  • I came on here to try and find the original mail as I couldn't remember if they'd appear in November statement or go on the account in November - glad to know its not just me who didn't get them. Clearly Tesco just say things to shut you up - won't waste time and effort on them anymore.

Well the Florida holiday for £3430 that I will be paying for in full with deals when my next vouchers arrive in Nov definitely appeals to me. There are lots of restaurants, attractions, hotels etc. that take them. I have a daughter and I have bought deals from ebay if going on days out, I recently bought £60 worth for much less than half that from ebay and it will pay for admission and a meal out on the day trip.

HI, I'm new to all this and wondered if anyone could explain to me how you pay for holidays with your tesco's points/vouchers.

I have just received my vouchers (converted from points earned through spending in Tesco) and I would like to use them to pay for next years holiday but have no idea how to do it......

    Please help!!
    Debt target: £19,000.00
    Debt Cleared : £4,000.00

I use the deals for loads of stuff - cheap magazine subscriptions to give as presents to family members, greene king vouchers for pub meals when on holiday, vouchers to treat kids to days out at places like woburn - things we wouldn't otherwise be able to afford!! PS. got a sweet 1600 clubcard points for the 8 keyrings (each one with a cute picture of the kids in it!!) that I'm giving to relatives for Christmas. (Vouchers run out on 9 december, but my local store, very kindly, was happy to take prepayment so that I could use them.)
