How to get Fibre !!??

Options
Hello

My local fibre cabinet is enabled for "superfast Fibre"

But Openreach says capacity is too high and therefore I cannot get any ISP to help sign me up to Fibre. Thus I am stuck on bog standard ADSL which is utter rubbish, a download speed of 1.3bb/sec.

Its a ridiculous dilemma and no doubt is very common.

What can I do?

I've contacted Openreach who give no indication whatsoever as to when it "may be enabled for more capacity" if indeed at all.

Help !

Got Virgin media in the area ?

Got a good 4G signal? If so consider MiFi dongle etc.

No, the regulations coming in are for a minimum 10 meg which considered to be high speed broadband

It was one of the non-negotiables when I moved in 2010. Bad broadband = house ruled out, no matter what else it had going in its favour. I can't believe that in this day and age people still don't think about it when moving (I don't mean the OP)
