    Me too.

Unless you're currently contributing less than £250 pm, you can't increase it, as monthly limit is still £250.

I could only manage £50 just working out within my budget whether I can increase my monthly contributions till they convert the account.

So have you only ever deposited the minimum of £50 a month since you opened it (I presume September 2016 when it launched?)

I opened it a little after that, think after my Skipton regular saver matured. Usually the minimum payment each month.

Don't you just wish leed's building society would upgrade to proper banking where funds can be moved online instead of an out dated pass book withdrawl. or is it just me.

Presumably most people who opened it, in branch, don't mind either going into branch to withdraw or withdrawing by post. Doesn't bother me.
  • Does the increase of the maximum amount to 7250 take place immediately or on the 1st September? My letter is not clear. Thanks.

Yeah but the most anyone will have as of today in August is £6000 anyway. The bonus becomes unconditional on 1 September, i.e. the account isn't condition based from that date on.

Just you. Leeds BS will send you a letter just before the account matures, asking for your maturity instructions. There will be a link to an online form. No passbook required.

    Your options will be:
    • Do nothing. Converts to maturity account paying very little interest.
    • Transfer to a new Leeds account.
    • Transfer to an existing Leeds account
    • Transfer to an external account.
