Write with AI (Top 40% of writing quality will receive 100% bonus)

    By KIXLAB KAIST

    Re:  "
You will need to meet some qualifications to participate in the task. There will be questions for this, which will take around 1 minute. You cannot participate if you do not qualify (We will pay you 0.10£)."

I was screened out after about 3 minutes and was asked to click on the link.  I only expect to receive the 10 pence but, when I checked having used the code provided, I see it has gone through as "Awaiting review" at the full £6 - which I am definitely not eligible for.

I messaged the Researcher because I am anxious about seeming to be "claiming" £6 wrongly when I am only eligible for 10 pence but, so far, I have not received a reply.

Has anyone else been screened out, clicked on the link provided and had the same experience, thank you?  Maybe, to be on the safe side, I should change the submission to "Returned."

UPDATE:  1741 - No reply from the Researcher yet so I decided to Return the Study.

Surprise update;  Today 10 pence 'Bonus' was added to my account from the Researcher.

Judging from other surveys I have done with a screening element, prolific haven’t set up their It properly and instead of awarding you a partial payment as a bonus, they are marking you as eligible for the partial payment AND the actual survey payment.

  • I had my first £15 AI survey this morning, so don't give up hope.  I could really do with a few more popping up!

I've just had to return two of the AI ones. I did the training for a new one but after half an hour of going through the instructions when I got to the task itself, the session finished automatically. I still got paid but then when I tried to log into another one it let me in then told me there were no tasks left to complete and I was asked to return the study. Same thing happened again later.
I think that they don't have enough tasks for us to rate for the number of participants they have requested.

There are studies still showing but I've decided to leave it for tonight - don't want to jeopardise being selected for future ones.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I did raise this some weeks ago.

I seem to be getting the message of the study being in high demand a lot more frequently now with 3 already today. I continue clicking to take part and eventually get the study is full message. Is anyone else getting this message and if so how regularly or is it just affecting me for whatever reason. As mentioned, there has been a noticeable increase for me of this happening when studies pop-up.

I'm getting this a lot at the moment.  The only studies I seem to get at the moment are ones that I assume I have been pre-selected for to some extent - the ones that are still there when I pop back after 5 minutes.  I've got to the point that if I get the high demand message I don't both clicking again/ refreshing as it is just a waste of my time.

Yes, albion22,  I seem to be having a similar experience to you:  "I seem to be getting the message of the study being in high demand a lot more frequently now ...   .  I continue clicking to take part and eventually get the study is full message."

When this happens it nearly always results in "Study full" but today I was surprised to, after continuously clicking, be allowed to start and complete the Study.  Although pleased (awaiting review at present) I was surprised not to find the "Study Full" message.

Anyone else just do this one - I've just spent nearly 50 minutes doing it.  It was actually quite enjoyable, but after it finished, there was a message asking to return it due to a failed attention check.  There were two attention checks asking you to select 'disagree' or 'somewhat disagree', which I'm pretty certain I selected correctly but nothing else.  I just wondered if everyone got the same message and it's a mistake.  I've messaged them back, but no reply as yet.
  • I usually put a claim in Willow if I'm fairly sure....they've always been approved so far.

This is a surprise for me too, a positive one for a change. Glad you made it in. And also, thank you. I admit, it never crossed my mind to continue clicking.
