As well as the subject matter, be warned that it really does take 25 minutes to do so the payout is genuinely sub par. I don't know where the researcher got their estimate of 15 minutes from!

Although (at least during the male version) - there is 5 minutes of solid video.

Could we complain to Prolific about the sub par payment?

    Yes you can

They sometimes require study owners to make the payment up and sometimes even payout themselves.

I think I've noticed a slight race to the bottom recently with more studies only just scraping the minimum payment if at all, although this morning's £4 was rather nice (if a bit dull)

I'm doing that now. It has the potential to be relentlessly dull....

Did anyone just do the mock jury study please? If so, what was the surname of the defendant? I am fretting that I got it wrong and may get my submission rejected ..... please put me out of my misery, someone!!

To be fair if you knew the min payment was 'x' - and you would have enough takers at that, then why would you pay more?

That said, I think the subject matter of the one in question yesterday was such that you couldve expected to get more.

    True

Prolific still pays miles more than most so I'll take anything at any price pretty much :rotfl:

When I think about its the ones like yours ,where the researcher underestimates the time, and the payment then falls well below that I've been noticing. I may be wrong. I'm not on there all the time.

Robert Smith. Don't think it was that bloke from The Cure, though.

I couldn't remember - I was focusing on the aspects of the case. I'm hoping it was natural to forget the name.....? Hope it gets approved, no sign of it yet though. Has yours been approved?

Mine's not been approved yet, but it often takes several days for this to happen.
