But doesn't it say "more than one attention check", not "one attention check"?

I was just commenting on the fact that you reported them on the basis that "one attention check fail would mean loss of compensation", which wasn't actually the case. But since they have now removed any attention checks, the point is moot.

Has anybody else done the Alcohol Buying online survey more than once? I did it a couple of days ago, and it came up again in my feed so I've done it again. Paid instantly for both.

And today is another day when Prolific doesn't like either my G Network fibre connection, or my O2 phone connection. Sigh. The especially annoying thing is that I am doing a 14 day daily study and it lets me do that (all of 10p a day) but neither of my connections is suitable for any other study.0

It said that they would ask for personal details and you agreed to this. I returned the study and reported it.

@Slinky I did it, and they did not ask for any personal details, it was just a few questions on social media. Haven't been paid yet, but it was a harmless short study for me. Yes I did find the blurb at the beginning quite strange, but I would have returned it if they'd asked anything personal and identifiable.2

It just seemed very odd. I read it a couple of times just to see if I'd missed the word NOT!Make £2025 in 2025

I agree, it was very unusual. If they offer another study and ask for the details there, I too would return and report. Let us know if you hear something from Prolific about this (I have never reported a study yet so I don't know if they ever communicate with the users who do)1

Has anyone else got the new 'Block researcher' link?
Spotted it for the first time today, don't think it was there yesterday. After the offensive racist study incident a couple of months back I certainly see it as a positive. Also useful for those who repeatedly launch underpaying studies (YT Yang, types)
