Wales. It’s working on chrome but not safari. Most of my tabs are safari so I’m going to miss the pop ups if I have to switch between browsers.MollyR said:It is working fine for me. I spent around 30 minutes doing a very boring selection task only to have it fail to upload the results at the end and tell me that there was a gateway error. I messaged the researcher as I didn't want to start it all over again - it was sending me to sleep. Didn't hear anything back so I cancelled it in the end.
I wish they would get these studies to work properly so I don't keep wasting my time. It's making me think I wont try any long studies any more as it's so frustrating when something goes wrong near to the end.Yes, I completed this one with no problems surprisingly as I am usually the one plagued with difficulties.I got paid yesterday and got the full £3.00 bonus, it wasn't the best though I agree.Prolific should make it a requirement that researchers respond to participants in such circumstances as it is very frustrating when this sort of thing occurs.I also had my recent rejection overturned and fully paid so having a good week so far

As an update to this - I have just had a message from the researcher saying that they do in fact have my data from the task and therefore I only need to complete the questionnaires at the end, which he had sent me a direct link too. Not sure what happens now though as I got a completion code but the prolific message at the end said submission had failed due to the study not being active which is obvious because I returned it. I'm sure though I've had one like this before and they can do something about it.yupiteru said:willowcat27 said:Anyone do one called ' Evaluating intentions of others'. It was for 50 minutes for £6.

Very impressed with the researcher though for taking the time to sort it out.
Glad you got your rejection overturned yupiteru - hope the rest of the week continues to be as positive.2 -
They can pay it as a bonus to the original survey.willowcat27 said:

Psychology Survey about Thoughts and Emotions.
Hosted by CARE Lab
I have had quite a long 'run' of not having any studies where I could participate - most of the time the studies were already full.
I was much too quick to 'click' on this one and was pleased to be able to start straight away. Four paragraphs down I noticed, too late, that the Study was for pregnant participants. I'm 75 and had to Return the Study.1 -
I did the same Deleted_User, it's also a returned study on my list as well. You think they would have put it on the first line in bold print as it's such a particular requirement of the study. Never mind. I did however get on one of the AI ones which seem to have come back recently. 1 hour for £16.50, I've seen them pop up a few times since so you may be able to get on one of those.Deleted_User said:Psychology Survey about Thoughts and Emotions.

Imitate emotional speech (INVITE ONLY). Receive bonuses of up to $6.00 for convincing imitations!
By Data Team£2.36 • £13.09/hr10 mins9 placesMultiple submissions allowedIn this study, you will use your microphone to capture yourself imitating the emotional intonation of 30 speech samples while saying different words. You will also use buttons to rate the emotions conveyed by the speech samples. At the beginning of the survey, you will be required to answer a few demographic and personality questions. This study will take an estimated 15-40 minutes depending on your effort.
WARNING: You will be asked to make loud noises during this survey, potentially including screams. Please consider your surroundings before you accept!
Is anyone missing any bonus payments from these studies? - I notice there's quite a few I've not had any bonus paid yet, some were from a few days ago.
