Just wanted a wee moan and to vent my frustration about my experiences with prolific lately
More and more studies that you complete and get to the end and they tell you study full or study closed
Studies which kick you out after 40 minutes because you have fallen below the accuracy rate
Studies which now screen you out
Researchers underestimating the completion time on purpose
Although still the best paying and most interesting study site it has become as bad as some of the others in recent months
Is it just me having a wee run of bad luck or are other users facing the same issues

Never had any of those problems personally. My only problems recently have been technical ones where it just wouldn't work after so long, but after explaining to researchers I have been paid accordingly.allison445 said:Just wanted a wee moan and to vent my frustration about my experiences with prolific lately

Well, I guess we may be in a different demographic to each other and thus being offered totally different studies, but I haven't been having those problems.

Yes, that's the thing isn't it? We are all offered different ones.MollyR said:Well, I guess we may be in a different demographic to each other and thus being offered totally different studies, but I haven't been having those problems.Making the debt go down and savings go up

I've not had those issues either. I do sometimes reserve a study only to be told it's full when i try to open it, but not having a problem with it being full at the end, or the other issues that you mention. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

Can two people in the same household use prolific with separate logins0

Yes. We are husband and wife and only occasionally the studies explicitly say they are only open to one person in a household. But there are lots of surveys that are open to partners/friends/housemates in the same household and you have to complete them with the other party - in so much as you give their ID.[Deleted User] said:Can two people in the same household use prolific with separate logins

Wow...you must spend all day doing studies. That's a massive amount. Trouble with earning too much, is having to pay tax on it.theonlywayisup said:
