Did anyone try Survey on Sunscreen Preferences hosted by whu.edu? I am really miffed that I failed the attention check after clicking the next button on the page that provide me with the code. Apparently, I should close the page itself rather than clicking the next button. Seem really unfair. Just wondering if anyone did this survey as well?
Yes, I've just done this one and did the same as you.  I copied the completion code but then clicked the Next button and got the same message.  Am hoping it will still be approved as I entered the code on Prolific. It didn't say you had to close the window (if I've remembered this correctly), it just said you can do and there was an arrow to click on to the next page.  Seems a bit of a strange attention check really.
I can vaguely recall the page saying please close the page or something like that. Will keep my fingers crossed!

Ditto. I logged the survey as problematic then put I thought it was unfair to have an attention check right at the end when they’ve harvested the data. Especially as I helpfully pointed out a mistake. Watch this space.

  • Keep checking - I hadn't had anything for three days either and then this morning I got on one of the AI ones - this time it was paying £12.41.  It did take just under an hour though but was actually quite good fun.

I am having a similar experience as well.  I did complete a couple on the weekend but they were very low paying and I keep seeing a high paying AI study pop up but with only one place left and I have not managed to get it, despite frantic clicking.

I have experienced periods like this over the years and things have always picked up again, so I will keep my fingers crossed. :)

Yes, I am sure it will pick up again soon. I had a very good week before, so shouldn't complain really

Don't forget that Prolific have an algorithm that gives you less studies ( or just the dregs of nearly full ones) the more you do.  I find the best thing I can do is to have a break of a few days, I seem to get loads more after that!  Also, now I have passed last year's total (and my anniversary is 1st April), I won't get out of bed for much less than a pound.  So it definitely feels like I'm doing fewer studies but better paying ones.  I did one of the AI "beat the bot" ones today in my lunch hour.  It is quite demanding but I like the challenge.

I’ve had a couple of longer ones a 35 minute one for about £6  popped up earlier but I’m just not able to do it in work time so I have to let them go unfortunately.

Most of them though are the one place  ones where when you click on them they’re full.

There’s a £4,  30 minute fighting a space chicken thingy hanging around at the moment.
I did a similar one before and lost the will to live so I’m giving this one a miss.
