- Sorry I am not doing a good job of copying and pasting this: Interview about your views on
health and health states
Hosted by *Stefan Lipman (Today)
- Although
I reserved an appointment today( for 19th May), I have just noticed
that, on 03 May 2022 I completed, and received £7.50 payment on
submission, for a very similar sounding study: “Health
from different perspectives (Interview).” I
am concerned in case, as a result, I may not be eligible to
participate is this study or be accused of trying to access it
twice.

I sent a message to The Researcher today as soon as I noticed the similarities. But, so far, have not had a reply.Has anyone else participated in the 03 May study with this very similar one becoming available today?

I don't see why they expect us to remember which studies we have participated in. Every survey starts with the entering of our Prolific ID; it is up to them to check this against their database, and tell us if the survey is one we have already taken.

Thanks for replying. So, if I do not hear from the Researcher, after having contacted him today, does it sound safe enough to participate in the session booked for this Thursday? I'm a bit apprehensive but would quite like to try this one as the title is a bit (not much!) different from the one I did on 03 May.Crimson0

Sorry, I didn't mean to provide advice; I was just giving my point of view. But if I were in your situation, and if they don't get back to you, I don't see why you should'nt accept the invitation. I have completed 31 studies since 3rd May, and there is no way that I am likely to remember the titles of any of them!

Thanks MollyR. Just minutes ago I received a reply from the Researcher. Although similar to the last study on 03 May, this one is a bit different and does not have the same questions. I have been reassured that it is O.K. to participate in this new study on Thursday 19 May.If the format is similar to the first one, it will be very straightforward, and I'm looking forward to it.Thank you, all, for your replies and for your interest.Crimson0

Deleted_User said:I had exactly the same experience, yupiteru. There was nothing before commencing the Study to say that the Study related only to international payments/remittancesmade in the past month. After commencing this study, and answering the questions, I received this notice:"Thank you. Your response is not needed at this time."What did your do, yupiteru? Were you asked to Return the Study? I was not asked to Return the Study and I submitted mine with "NO CODE."CrimsonI just returned it tbh and left it at that. I think I had some kind of a message stating that my responses indicated I could not continue, but I can't remember exactly.I think you did the right thing submitting "NO CODE" and not sure why I didn't.Sadly I think the way Prolific has gone lately, I have just become accustomed to being messed around.1

Tasks of Perception
By Jonne Hietanen144 placesPurpose of this study
This is a study about linguistic and visual perception. It includes tasks and some questions about demographics (gender, age, and education).
£1.75 • £10.83/hr9 mins
Managed to secure a place, but when It loaded I realised it was a dreaded 'Gorilla' format study and was expecting the 'study full' message.
BUT NO, I actually got 'Spaces available' which is rarer than a four leaf clover for me and I got the short version of the study as well so all good.
