I'm pleased to hear that you were both eligible and that you managed to complete this Study to the point of receiving a completion code, silvercar.

I know that only time will tell but, having heard the experiences of others on this Forum about this particular Study, it sounds as if the Researcher did not provide enough accurate information to attract suitable participants.  If all those who had to submit 'NO CODE' are rejected then, in the circumstances, I think it would be unfair.

I sent what I think was a polite message to the Researcher and, if I receive a reply, I'll post back here.

Anyway - I'm pleased that you did well, silvercar.

    International payments

Received an e-mail from Jim in prolific directing me to this one, but I was screened out due to me not making any International payments recently.

Well maybe I have, as I do purchase from overseas vendors occasionally, but none that I can remember at this moment in time.

I also took this study and was screened out midway through. I personally decided that for 67p, it wasn't worth the fight to get the inevitable rejection overturned - however I did report the study after returning it, and send the researcher a fairly pointed message reminding them that participants shouldn't be screened out of studies midway through.

I got that too.  I do feel that if one is to be screened out, it should be at the first question.  I entered NOCODE for the survey, and reported the DQ message, saying that if one is invited for a survey one should not be screened out at the end of it.
Yes, exactly. I also reported it as I was screened out at the very end despite actually having made an international payment in the past 12 months.

Yes, I was going to say the same thing  - I'd made a couple of international payments but only through my normal bank, apparently my data wasn't required. I entered a Nocode result and sent a message to PA to say that I expected to get paid.

If they were looking for specific methods of payments it should have been specified in the original instructions, before you even click to enter the survey.

"Thank you. Your response is not needed at this time."  and, having completed, as explained earlier, with NO CODE, I am surprised and pleased to have, just now, received approval of my submission from Laura Gallagher - 67 pence.

I hope it is the same for everyone else.  Please let us know.

I was just coming back to say that I've been paid too.

Perhaps it was just a clumsy way of finishing the survey.

Kicking myself now, I returned it for fear of rejection. Oh well, at least it was only 67p.

I did the same thing. Mainly because I got rejected very recently for completing a study “too quickly” which involved voting in two polls (literally clicking a multiple choice option twice). The researcher for that hasn’t bothered responding to my messages since.
