I got a well paying one this afternoon but returned it because I just couldn't be doing with uploading a video talking about my leadership style.
    The others have been full.
I don't think the video one pays enough. Any I've done with videos on different sites have paid more like £20....

Did anyone ever hear back from the Y T Wang survey that timed out? Nothing here, one to watch out for for me in case s/he lists any more.

I heard nothing back about the Y T Wang one. No response at all from Prolific. The researcher did pay out very quickly so I wondered if they had paid out then left Prolific so they couldn't be asked to pay out any more.
  • Had several full ones yesterday, only got on 1 ;(

That makes sense then if they disappeared. I didn't get a reply or a fee.
  • Has anyone else done that four part “A study about your personal purchasing preferences” one where it just lists about 100 questions about food each time?

One of the most boring I’ve ever done.

I’ve done all four now, they’re very repetitive. But easy money like you say.

I've had several studies today which show there are plenty of places (50 or more) available when I click on them and reserve a place, only to be told as I press 'start' that the study is full and I should return it. I don't like returning studies if I can help it (does it affect your rating?? I'm never sure).

Has anyone else experienced this issue recently?

Yes, I’ve had that today as well. It doesn’t affect your rating but I always do a “technical issue” message when asked for the reason why I have returned it,
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

The weird thing about that one was that the original question was about "think about the food that you buy to give your mind and body energy throughout the day".  They were implying that you would think about some packaged/branded snack.  I was just thinking about my ordinary home made/cooked/prepared food, or an apple and a bit of cheese. Which kind of made a nonsense of some of the questions.  Still, got paid.

Y T Wang never responded when I asked for a bonus since I didn't think it was humanly possible to fill in the survey in the time.

I've had some really well-paying ones recently including one about learning an alien language where me and a "someone else" repeatedly messaged "ploblinista" etc at each other for some minutes, which was quite good fun, one which I did in a fraction of the time allotted but they still paid, and a £10 one which crashed halfway through but they still paid.  When things like that happen I send a polite message hoping I haven't done something wrong.  So far (touch wood) I have never been rejected, the closest I have come was an amber marking for timing out on the Y T Wang one.
