Am I reading the posts above correctly? Are people trying workrounds to get on studies they haven't been offered?
I hope I'm wrong
Please don't abuse Prolific - they are the 'good guy' survey site.7 -
I managed to complete this with very few issues but I didn't keep an eye on the clock so nearly timed out had 4 minutes left when I finished so was way longer than the 60 minutes quotedCheckDigit said:Virtual recruitment game [Browser: Mozilla and Chrome only] v.2

I think these posts were removed as they were pointless most survey's have set demographics.warby68 said:Am I reading the posts above correctly? Are people trying workrounds to get on studies they haven't been offered?

And, as I was arguing against people trying to get into studies which hadn't been offered to them, I have now had to go through all my posts in that discussion and add a note that I posted in response to posts which have now been deleted - or it would appear that I was disagreeing with perfectly innocuous posts!

Totally agree. Prolific is set up to be fair to all users and everyone should respect their system as it is. If you are offered a study then great. If not then you just have to be patient.I’m glad those trying to outsmart the system have gone.6 -

Yes, but I skipped the second part of it entirely (which was perfectly within the rules to do). I suspect the true purpose of the study was more to do with this second part. The first part was very lucrative, anyway - £2.50 plus a £3 bonus for a fairly easy 5 minute task.allison445 said:Typing out novel captcha codes (desktop only)

Yes I only remember completing one page of Captchas and I think it took me less than 10 minutes. I thought there would be more pages to do.allison445 said:Typing out novel captcha codes (desktop only)
