"There are 20 kinda surveys in the same wall."

I don’t think trying to get onto studies not sent to us is very honest.2

I suspect that eventually sharing links like this would lead to people being kicked out of Prolific. If you really want to do it, I would strongly suggest that you ask them first whether it is acceptable.[MTA: This post was made in response to other posts which now appear to have been deleted.]4

I've never had more than a couple. I couldn't deal with more than a couple either. I'm very happy indeed with the ones that I do get, I really like the idea of helping research rather than helping commercial companies sell more unnecessary stuff. And of course the money is good too, it's the only survey company I use now, since my last payout I've left Yougov too.
An interesting experiment though, I must say I do like understanding how these things work.

I don't think it's dishonest if someone else receives 5 surveys in a day and I don't receive a survey in two weeks. The point of Prolific is to help academic researchers fulfil their research. If that means I don't qualify for a survey, that's fine. I actually think it's dishonest to try to access studies I'm not asked to participate in as that could mean that students, who haven't generally got a lot of money either, are paying to get research opinions which are invalid as I may not be in the intended group they need to survey.2

I agree, the difference with Prolific Academic as far as I'm aware is it's academic research, not market research. I'd rather participate in those I'm deemed relevant to. Plus generally I find them more interesting than market surveys too3

If that's in the USA, how come all the payment amounts are shown in UK currency?

Well, I can quite understand that people living in one country will be offered surveys which are not offered to people living in a different country. I see little point in those of us who live in the UK (and that will certainly be the majority of us on this forrum) trying to access surveys which are intended for people who live in the US.[MTA: This post was made in response to other posts which now appear to have been deleted.]1

Asks for full postcode however. I'm not happy with that.3
