I just returned this when a £2 5 minute survey turned up wasn't sure the app would work on my outdated phone anyway lol
Was tempted to hit complete as I'm sure I had waited over 20 minutes for the email.:(

I've been waiting 40 minutes for this email to come through - I've emailed the researcher - not holding my breath for a quick response though :(

If nothing else you can at least do it when it is convenient for you though, rather then hanging on....it'll be a bit cheeky for them to have you waiting and then still have a 1 hour activity. They need to realise people are sat waiting for them.

Maybe the purpose is to do the study while annoyed at waiting so long for the email :D
Oh and plus you now need to rush to finish it on time

I returned mine when I found out I had to download an app to my phone, not allowing an unknown app anywhere near my phone even for a fiver not to mention they state it takes an hour to complete - so below minimum wage as well.

I also didn't like how it stated the data would be used for "research and other purposes". Would like those purposes specified!

I used my prolific email address rather than my private, and when I finally got an email through, the message was blank, no download link, or anything else for that matter.

It's one annoyance after another with it.
Got the email, downloaded the app, says to sign in using the email they sent the link to...but provide no password!!
You can't create an account as the email address is already recognized as registered!

Pretty sure thats quite standard. I dont really care what they do with the results from surveys or trials I do....the bigger concern is whether the app takes any other data on your phone. As theres nothing really on my phone at the minute (other then texts from companies wanting money) - Im not over fussed, but it is right to be wary.

Mind you....they cant even work out how to send an email by the look of it, let alone disguise a trojan horse as an app :rotfl:

Also had the MindX study but returned it after a long wait just to get a blank email and the site being so slow a snail could outpace it.
