Oh is that the one that was around ages ago? By the description I was half expecting them to be writhing in agony but she just looked as mildly irritated by the shocks as I felt at how boring it was :rotfl:

Mine was a gent but he was definitely putting it on....you could see him winding up for the "painful" ones. But by the cringe it went on and on - and what researchers perhaps dont realise is that if you make the amount of time quite tight, by the end you are thinking as much about "is this going to finish on time" then the survey itself.

I could tell before when it said "Max 50 - Average 38" - think mine took 41/42 mins, but as there was no indicator on progress I hadnt a scooby how much I had left to do.

I returned mine when I found out I had to download an app to my phone, not allowing an unknown app anywhere near my phone even for a fiver not to mention they state it takes an hour to complete - so below minimum wage as well.
    Win's so far: Cadburys Mini Eggs £1.09 Pentel Goody Bag £10 , M&S Luxury Hamper £45, 10,000 Tesco clubcard points (£100) :j

Fair point - I am giving it a go though (needs must for me at the moment). I have been waiting over 10 mins for a email with a link - with an average completion time of 52 mins the actual activity cant be too bad.

It cant be any more boring then the electric shock one I did yesterday. I have never known tedium like it...

£5 an hour is the standard rate for Prolific. Still waiting for the email though which is eating up the time.

And me - given that I havent closed the survey yet (not sure if you need to?) it means I cant do other surveys while I am waiting.....not that I would likely have any, but that isnt the point......Smodlet would have steam coming out of the ears.

They have 3 minutes to email me, else I will mark the survey as complete - I'll email them saying I am happy to do what they want, but I can't sit around all morning waiting for them to send me the link, thats just not fair....

I've been waiting 40 minutes for this email to come through - I've emailed the researcher - not holding my breath for a quick response though :(
