Prolific Academic Survey Alerts

I am still pretty new to Prolific, only been using it for about a month, so please forgive me if I sound a bit dim asking this. But - what's the point of this thread? The "alerts" that people quote are surely just studies that have appeared for them, and don't benefit other users? There are no links or anything, so is this thread basically posters just informing other posters what studies they themselves have done?
Apologies again if that's a silly question.
Actually it can be untrue - there have been times an alert has been posted here, and when I went to prolific it has been available there. Its also as others have said, useful if you run into problems with the survey. Its also interesting to see what has been available on the platform.
It is distinctly quieter since Smodlet skulked off in high dudgeon, mind. She used to complain if it was sunny in Barbados.Debt: May 15: £17335 Jul 16: £13874 Jan 17: £11,606 Dec 18: £8,308 Sept 19: £4,969 Jul 21: £890

I just wish there were more studies. Even one a day would be a bonus.0

Would someone be able to help me? I want to subscribe to this thread as I keep missing out on studies, how would I do that on a smartphone? I can't see any option.
Many Thanks in advance.0 -
