Moral Judgment and Decision-making
Hosted by Bertram Gawronski
£2.9935 minutes £5.12/hr 33 places remaining
Today’s study examines the different ways in which people respond to moral dilemmas. For example, consider a potential dilemma where you have to decide whether or not it is acceptable to shoot a passenger plane that has been hijacked by terrorists. There are two possible ways of responding. Some people would say it is acceptable to shoot the plane because it will help prevent even greater harm (e.g., if the terrorists plan to crash the aircraft into densely populated area). Other people would say it is not acceptable to shoot the plane, because killing the innocent passengers is morally wrong no matter what consequences follow.

I am still pretty new to Prolific, only been using it for about a month, so please forgive me if I sound a bit dim asking this. But - what's the point of this thread? The "alerts" that people quote are surely just studies that have appeared for them, and don't benefit other users? There are no links or anything, so is this thread basically posters just informing other posters what studies they themselves have done?
Apologies again if that's a silly question.0 -

I find it useful if I have a problem with a study, to see if others have done too. Or if I need to put in a completion code, and didn't make a note of it.0
