I won't deny I had a "comfort break" between reading the incredibly long-winded instructions and beginning. Fortunately OH is quite well trained in the bringing of refreshments whilst one is thus occupied. :cool:0 -
I did it one handed whilst cuddling my poorly toddler so was a good way to earn! Did you all do every line?0

Yes! I figured I would just carry on until it timed out on me. Couldn't believe I finished with half an hour to spare.
Wishing toddler a speedy recovery.0 -

Yeah must be an error, I certainly wouldn't work for free! 160 odd places had been taken though - I wonder if those people actually did it for the love of survey takingAnyone else had this?
"Hi!
As one of our most valued participants, we'd like to invite you to try out our newest feature: Instant PayPal cashouts.
Up until now, you've had to wait until our Tuesday/Friday payments to get paid for your Prolific studies. But no longer! We'll soon be launching instant PayPal payments, where you'll be able to get paid at anytime, instantly.
If you'd be interested in being one of the early "alpha testers" of this feature, please reply to this email expressing interest and you'll be able to use instant payments from next week.
Best,
Your Prolific Team"
"Best" what? Why can't they learn to say "Kind regards"? And if they think I'm paying to cash out, they can think again. What's in it for them? Are they getting some kind of kickback from PP?
It's be a "No" from me.
Ha! I've not had that email, I can't be a "valued" participant
Does being a valued participant qualify you for a gold star or a t-shirt also?!0 -

I can only think in my case it means they think I am stupid enough to pay to cash out when I can do so for free, MLE007; unless that changes, of course.0 -

I've noticed other survey sites (namely GiftHulk) have recently moved to instant PP payments. Qmee is another that does instant payments. I don't use Circle so I'm definitely up for it. It would be nice, as Qmee does, to choose how much I want to cash out - I always take exactly £5 from Qmee so I can keep track of cashouts more easily, I try and get as close to £20 after fees for Prolific but it'd be nice to take the same amount each time.
Make £2020 in 2020 - £263.78/£2020
2020 totals
Swagbucks - £100 | Prolific Academic - £44.54 | Qmee - £10 | PopulusLive - £50

Just got that 'recommender system' study approved, so I'm finally over £20! First payout request, and for me it's the first time using circle as well - exciting times0

I do, I do. But then I feel like my patience has been tested already - if I can wait 2 weeks for another study, then waiting until Tuesday shouldn't be too bad. I hope.0
