Nah, not me. I did it so I could complain, which will come as no surprise to some on 'ere. :p That and the fact I couldn't actually believe my eyes at first.

Well that was... Strange. My eyes have gone funny now. Not as tedious as I thought it would be.

Ditto. I quite enjoyed it in a weird sort of a way.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

    Anyone else had this?

    "Hi!

As one of our most valued participants, we'd like to invite you to try out our newest feature: Instant PayPal cashouts.

Up until now, you've had to wait until our Tuesday/Friday payments to get paid for your Prolific studies. But no longer! We'll soon be launching instant PayPal payments, where you'll be able to get paid at anytime, instantly.

If you'd be interested in being one of the early "alpha testers" of this feature, please reply to this email expressing interest and you'll be able to use instant payments from next week.

    Best,

    Your Prolific Team"

"Best" what? Why can't they learn to say "Kind regards"? And if they think I'm paying to cash out, they can think again. What's in it for them? Are they getting some kind of kickback from PP?

It's be a "No" from me.

I did sit there wondering if it was the most productive use of a Saturday and am I just a very sad person. Then I realised it was that or cleaning, and at least I was sitting down with my feet up. :)

I am so with you, elsien. I will have to do the kitchen sink later but can probably get away with putting the rest off until tomorrow. :p If they do pay for each line completed (which they will if they know what is good for them) that was a few bob.

I sat there typing away until I made a mistake and then went and made a cup of tea. I carried on to the end though. They claimed there was no trickery so they should pay per line typed.

I just did that study too, while watching TV, and yeah, I would say it was less tedious than what one might think... How that reflects on my idea of fun, I'm not sure :rotfl:
