Yes, I was very relieved to get that message as I had been wondering if the AI work had wound down as it has been very quiet recently!  I managed a couple on Wednesday evening and a couple this morning, but you are right, they go very quickly - presumably because people are jumping on them now as they have been a bit scarce recently!

Has anyone had any trouble linking their paypal account? Keep getting could not verify user from PayPal account.

Well yesterday I received the dreaded account on hold message and subsequently told through their generic response that I can no longer participate on their platform, in other words suspended/banned. Initially, I had absolutely no idea why their system flagged my account up. So I investigated further and racked my brain to think of what may have caused this. One thing I then noticed was that I had inadvertently overlooked updating my location in the ' About You' section after we relocated last June although I did almost immediately update my new address on the account page. I'm just wondering if this has caused an issue or not. I have reported to Prolific on this today but doubt they will respond further.

Another possible cause is that twice recently I saw a strange message pop-up that someone in my household or building was already doing the study. In our apartment building I think we have a shared internet network but with our own separate routers and passwords in our individual properties. Just wondering if Prolific thinks I was making two different attempts? Again I have just informed them about this.

I have been a member for over four years with hardly any rejections and have always been honest in my profile information and study completion.

I think it's very unlikely that Prolific will reverse this decision and I feel quite upset over what has happened.

Is there anything more I can do or will I have to reluctantly accept this decision? It does appear that it is extremely rare for a decision to be reversed.

I am sorry to hear that this has happened to you, albion22.  I can understand your disappointment and upset.  If you decide to appeal I wish you all the best.

Have the AI studies slowed for everyone? I had quite a steady stream last week.

Only had one since the new year. The occasional odd one popped up a couple of weeks ago but generally when I was not able to do them. I suppose all good things must come to an end at some point.

I've had them on and off since the New Year, they were going quite quickly once up though and weren't always getting as far as being emailed out.

I've quite a few yesterday and today though - the ones with lots of places so they've been sticking around more.

I've got lots up today. I normally have a few emails in the morning telling me there are AI studies available. I've also noticed they're doing a new thing where they send a message to your Prolific inbox with a link to the study. They seem keen on encouraging people to do as many studies as possible.

Well that makes me feel better, as I’m sure both you and I haven’t qualified for the fact checking studies but do get the other type.
