Nor have most of the newbies here; we know you need guidance so it's all in one place.

  • So just a side point: was the car parked wholly within the bay or not? If not why not?

I will hazard a guess but the OP can put me right if not:

Probably because other cars were parked at an angle, as highlighted in the Beavis case discussion where the Judges remarked that it would be unfair and punitive, if all cars were ticketed in a row.

Drivers don't deliberately set out to park out of bay lines, unless they are to one side by a kerb, away from the bays completely, in order to load something or because they are disabled and need ample space (but the OP didn't mention either of those things, so I doubt this is what happened here).

  • Hi guys it!!!8217;s the 26th day from the original ticket on 16 jan
The person who I am helping (not myself) has sent the appeals email and didn!!!8217;t include name and adress (mistake?) used the email template on newbies thread.

When Said person arrived the car next to him who had left conveniently by the time the picture was taken was parked at an angle so He had to which forced him out the bay. So In the picture it looks bad...

Worried this was a waste of time now
  • Apologies person did leave name at the bottom of the email

Again, worried this was a waste of time as picture looks conveniently bad.

    Please can someone advise?

Thanks for all help and advice thus far

So they send it again (the whole thing) with their name & postal address this time.

Like the sticky thread instructs. OF COURSE they need the address, to stop the PPC going to the DVLA!

Who cares about the picture! Winning is not about whether the contravention actually happened.

I don't think you realise the point about 'no keeper liability' and the reason for appealing on day 26. It is explained in the sticky thread, the Q ''why wait till day 26?'' It's a tactic that works, IF the person actually gives their NAME AND ADDRESS.

  • Hi coupon mad

Have now received an email from parkwatch stating me ticket is still valid and I have to appeal to popla.

My question is do I now wait until the 25-26th day to appeal? I have 28 days

Actually you should wait and work on your POPLA appeal because you want to be past day 56 when it is submitted. We assume they have not sent a NTK, exactly falling into our trap?

  • Is that 56 days from the original ticket on the car? And then once is past that day I can do my appeal because as you say they have fell into the trap, no NTK sent to me
