Existing customer with EE and just been offered this deal from retentions, is this good or not?

£37.99 per month
£229.99 upfront
100GB data per month, unlimited calls and texts.

You don't say over how long - 24 months?

That would be £1141.75 - and the 256Gb X retails for £1149.

On the face of it, if you really want an iPhone X and need lots of data, calls and texts then it seems a good price.

A 256Gb X would be £47.88 if purchased outright and paid for equally over 24 months. Which wouldn't include airtime.

so you don't need 100GB a month..........reminds me of a friend who was offered double the minutes and double GB for the same price she was already paying and thought it was a fantastic deal.Then it was pointed she was only using 1/4 of original plan and in the end got a new deal for 1/3rd of what she was paying

Fair point on usage, however if I bought the phone separately I would pay more overall.

Maybe you can go back and see if they'll give you a reduced allowance at an even lower price :beer:

The price is already cheaper than a handset on it's own though!

I don’t think that’s possible. Basically I’m getting 100gb per month for free for 2 years would you turn that down:rotfl:?
